Hello everyone~~ i want a quick and soon help from you guys so what i did was to download and install Cod4X client on my PC......in cod4 ... and whenever i try to connect to any server it shows that STEAM AUTHENTICATION ERROR i dont have steam installed in my PC... and i have a cracked game... where a multiplayer key was given to me by my friend Please Help~~ i really miss my sniper.... thank you ~~ hoping for a real quick reply
  5. Just tried to use mysql plugin but after that server doesnt start and say "MySQL query error: (1067) Invalid default value for 'vipexp'" just google'd and saw that is a problem with DATETIME and TIMESTAMP... but idk anything about this... any help? Thx

  10. Recently returned to COD4 multiplayer, and all was well until latest Windows update. Opening multiplayer gives Directx failed to initialize error. Checked Directx installation ok (12) and all windows updates, drivers etc with no change. Reinstalled COD4 (version1) all ok. Updated to 1.6 all ok. Updated to 1.7 all ok. Install cod4x and error returns. Anyone help please?
  11. Hi, Yesterday, I connected to a modded server but the download time was so long that I decided to terminate the process. And now, I have some trouble when I want to download mods. I tried to uninstall cod4x but it says "Error: Updatefolder not placed into cod4 directory"... I tried some commands too : /set sv_allowdownload 0 /seta sv_wwwDownload 0 /seta sv_wwwDlDisconnected 0 And then reactivate these. I tried /disconnect too And I uninstalled cod4 to reinstall it. Then steam servers works fine but, when I want to connect to cod4x modded servers, they say that I need to install cod4x. So I did it and this error is popping everytime I try to play. Thank in advance for helping me.
  12. I recently reinstalled steam (and all of my games) and since then I haven't been able to join any servers. I have the correct pb files and servercache.dat. Is there anything else I can do to fix this?
  13. I am running customised promod which has crazy and duffman folders. Every time i try to host on Gameranger a dedicated server with this mod it say error compile script. Send ur GR ID so we can talk there

  16. Sys_Error: Could not bind to a IPv6 network socket Everytime I start my server i get that error, its because there's another server using the same port at ipv6, but in ipv4 they use different ipv4 addresses. I didn't have this error before last update. How i can disable ipv6?

  19. Evening All, I had a look at the forums to see if there were and fixes for some issues I have had. I can't seem to find a direct answer but some posts are pretty close. Recently ensured I was all updated to 1.8 - 16.1 and have been given admin in a server/changed my name in steam which has led to many errors. To be honest, its all confused me going around in circles. Everything was working fine. I 'm not entirely sure how/why it has started but each time I launch COD4 Multiplayer everything seems fine. A few minutes into a game, it begins to lag out - everything is slow-motion including sound, commands or text does not work and it also flashes up connection interrupted. It also at times pushes me into the background textures whilst it does all of this. I have attempted to reinstall the game with all the auto updates which seemed to have just put me back in the same place. I messed around a bit and got it to work for a bit longer but ultimately it continues to do the same above. My connection is fine, checked that all over. At the moment, I have uninstalled CODX from the files and manually downloaded it..... which I hope will help. The CODX is now 16.0 and still has the same issues if not worse! Shall I take this to 16.1? Please see video as an example of what happens:- I have received in-game errors such as :- Error: unable to find origin we sent, delta is not going to work Parse Config client data Error: CLAN_ReadString () message has been truncated Truncated message is NAME ------------------------ sound system initialization -------------------------------- Error: Sub_57B5CO: Failed to get line info! Error: Tried to use ' (null) ' when it isnt valid Error: Tried to use 'feedbackSampler' when it isnt valid There has also been mention of CODX using dedicated server MW3 to run the current game through steam. I receive these messages/errors and it doesn't seem like MW3 Dedicated programme is shutting down at all when trying to close steam. If I relaunch COD4, it will sometimes say that it Dedicated is already running. . I am open to ideas and suggestions however I would like to resolve it asap.
