  1. Hi there, I have been developing/maintaining a Docker image using your Cod4x server (by the way, thanks again !!). Recently a user pointed me out that the logging does not work. I have been trying many different settings but it actually seems the .log files do not get created anywhere. Where are the log files meant to be by default? In /main/game_mp.log? How about mods, for example in /mods/mymod/game_mp.log? I have tried without and with mods but the server program does not seem to create the log file. The binary log output is attached.   3. Just to reduce image size by almost 50%. Debian with g++-multilib is twice the size of Alpine with build-base in example. Although I need to figure out everything Alpine would need to run cod4x.

The documentation I made is decent too. Although I am facing the following problems now: 1. Using Alpine instead of Debian, but no g++-multilib in Alpine - any idea ? 2. A Zombie Mod I had does not work anymore because there is not enough slots. How can I raise the limit of slots to i.e. 64 (It shows (24)(24)) ?   5. I recently found that my issue was that I was simply forwarding the 28960 port without specifying /udp Now it works great. I am still working on a user-friendly Docker version of Cod4x with a HTTP server for mods and usermaps. I will post a message here once it is finished ! Thanks all !

In the end, all the following work: ./cod4x18_dedrun.exe +map mp_crash ./cod4x18_dedrun.exe +map_rotate ./cod4x18_dedrun.exe +exec server.cfg +map_rotate (with the server.cfg in the root of the cod4x server) However, giving too many arguments as I did OR the map at the beginning of the arguments results in a failure.

I followed the instructions from the Github repository: Install cod4x client with install.cmd from https://cod4x.me/downloads/cod4x_client.zip to my game installation directory cod4installationdir/ Download and extract the Windows server from https://cod4x.me/downloads/cod4x_server-windows.zip Copy and paste all the contents of cod4installationdir/main and cod4installationdir/zone to the extracted cod4x server Run the server from the commmand line as administrator with cod4x18_dedrun.exe +map mp_killhouse +set dedicated 2 +set net_ip 127.0.0.1 The server starts successfully with: The full log is attached as log.txt I launch my cod4 client game and nothing appears in the menu if i add 127.0.0.1 or 127.0.0.1:28960 as favourite in the menu, or it will await for connection if i try with the command /connect 127.0.0.1 I have been running COD4 servers with the original COD4 executable for a while and it works, but this won't work for me unfortunately. I tried with various other Ubuntu virtual machines (Docker, Vagrant) and it gives me the same problem. Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated ! Thank you in advance ! log.txt

So here is my repository with a decent readme (although still rewriting here and there): https://github.com/qdm12/cod4-docker I forwarded the UDP port 28960, it's running on a host machine with local IP 192.168.1.210 and I am trying to access it with another Windows machine in the same network by adding the COD4 server 192.168.1.210:28960 but nothing appears unfortunately. I disabled firewalls as well to make sure but still nothing.

I made sure my client has codx 1.8 installed too.
