  2. well I got everything to work except the advancedacp.cfg where you add your guid, I found it and added it but it says I'm not aurturized with that guid. So my questions are do I add all of it or part of it? Also I used to be able to start a server on my pc and play on it from a different game folder.When I'd start the server only the server thing would show not connect me to it, and then I would join the server from another game folder but I don't remember how I did it I'm old my memory sucks. And the web site is down looked everywhere on how to do this. Any help would be great.
  3. I like to know how to remove or change game text in while spectating ( Press left mouse to follow... ) if I can in Mohaa there is a " localization.txt " that you can change, is there something like that in cod4 ?

    Star Wars Mod

    Well I installed MW Demon mod it runs great with or with out bots, and that star wars mod is too big a mod and the bots are set up for it's maps, so I said heck with it. Demon MW2 mod for COD4: Modern Warfare - Mod DB is a pretty good mod.

    I have 2 questions about this mod. 1.) I installed it and made a Lan server for testing, I have it working but when the map changes the bots don't reconnect, and I can't figure out why, should they? 2.) Would I need to have the bots for the mod on server in order to run the mod? I'm sure the answer is no, but if I can figure out why they don't reconnect at map changes I can run a couple on server so if it's almost empty people could still play until others join the game. I have never messed with bots before and just want to try something new for the server, any info will help.

    If you can see him online then it's not that, I wouldn't think so anyway. when i run steam but not the steam game but my non-steam game i don't get the steam ID but the old ID, but the commands still work as long as steam is running.

  11. All I know is for text is like this hud.glowColor = ( 0.0, 1.0, 1.0 ); don't know where you would change it at.
  12. It's more alive the Mohaa....😏 but that isn't the point, we like cod4MW, we like making up new things for this game, we like to come here and learn things. However, we don't like people who are negative thinkers, who just don't get the point, but just to make sure I'll say it plainly, CODMW rocks, and most of don't care what you think anyway.

  14. Yes, if your not using a mods folder it has to go to where the error message is looking for it, console logs are your best friend trust me, it will tell you everything you need to know when something goes wrong.

    Depends, are you running a mod? But what you need to do is add it to a folder, maps/mp/gametypes that's where you add the file and exec it from another script like teams.gsc, globallogic.gsc, dm.gsc, tdm.gsc just about any gsc script that gets called at start of game. added this here to top of script you pick this is globallogic.gsc: #include maps\mp\_utility; #include maps\mp\gametypes\_hud_util; #include common_scripts\utility; init() { thread maps\mp\gametypes\_spawnprotection::init(); // hack to allow maps with no scripts to run correctly if ( !isDefined( level.tweakablesInitialized ) ) maps\mp\gametypes\_tweakables::init(); then add set protection "TIME HERE" to server.cfg This is just one way of doing it, but other way takes more time and knowledge of scripting.
