Setup for noobs

Posted (edited)

Hi,

As the title suggests, I'm a beginner setting up a server and would like some assistance with setting up leiizko's New Experience mod.

I currently have a server with gameservers and have installed CoD4X 19.2, which was provided by gameservers inside the admin section of their site (server ip: 196.41.143.19:28960).

I followed the instructions on leizko's github page and everything seems correct (see attached images), although I don't see any changes after the server has restarted. I have also tried setting g_speed and g_gravity but they have no affect. Is there something I am missing perhaps?

Any advance would be appreciated. Thanks

First, never share your auth token, change it ASAP.

Second, I don't see main_shared folder in your cod4 root directory, so something missing there.

You suppose to install the 2 directories from this github in the main_shared folder ( https://github.com/leiizko/cod4_new_experience )
And the config.cfg goes in the main folder.

So the directory structure would look like this:

cod4/main/config.cfg
cod4/main_shared/code
cod4/main_shared/maps/mp

Awesome thank you.

No worries on the auth token, I jumbled it up before posting here.

I did notice my folder structure didn't have "/main_shared/". Is this something I can simply create or something the server hosting will need to do?

if you have full access you should be able to do it.
