the hell are you doing ... "make"

I know as I told you I've no clue on how to compile something... I'm just trying to do it by myself. So here it is with make

root@obteo:~/mysql-master# make
g++ Main.cpp -> obj/Main.o
In file included from Main.cpp:1:0:
MySQLPlugin.hpp:2:21: fatal error: ../pinc.h: No such file or directory
compilation terminated.
make: *** [obj/Main.o] Error 1

because plugins can only be compiled when they are in the correct subfolder of the server. means also you have to compile the server first.

well not the latest version (17.5.6). In this version the makefile gives me the same error as @Teo100 mentioned above. The makefile-old gives me this.

(I have renamed makefile-old as makefile)

make linux32
[Linux] Building specific files...
[Linux] Building ZLib...
[Linux] Building NASM code...
nasm: fatal: unable to open input file `src/msg_hooks.asm'
make: *** [nasm_linux] Error 1

But this one's makefile-old worked well. I don't know the version of it. But I have downloaded it on 8th of september 2017 from github repo.

okay, yeah we wont debug ancient builds :P

but now that multiple ppl have the problem with tomcrypt on the latest version i think it is worth looking at it.

i suppose the problem with tomcrypt is also present when you try to compile tomcrypt directly? go into src/tomcrypt and type "make" there?

even on gcc 4.7 i have no problems building it. but i suppose, as tommath.h is in a subfolder, recursive including does not work for some reason.

you may wanna try to edit the makefile "src/tomcrypt/makefile"

replace

CFLAGS=-m32 -Wall -Os -s -I. -DLTC_NO_ROLC -DLTC_SOURCE

with

CFLAGS=-m32 -Wall -Os -s -I. -Imath -DLTC_NO_ROLC -DLTC_SOURCE

just a wild guess, i cannot test it myself sadly.

@T-Max any idea why on some systems subfolders like "math" in "tomcrypt" arent included?

So I manually created Obj folder. Well now it compiles well.
